Gold filled Victorian bar pin pendant from the late 1800s with hand engraved details. Pendant measures 2.1" wide. Floriography, that is the language of flowers, was popular during the Victorian era. The flower on this former bar pin closely resembles a snowdrop, one of the first flowers of Spring to push their white blossoms through the snow. The snowdrop flower represents hope and sympathy, and is the flower for the month of January.
