Victorian Rhododendron Vertical Bar Necklace
Victorian Rhododendron Vertical Bar Necklace
This one-of-a-kind conversion necklace is made up of:
-
Gold filled Victorian bar pin pendant from the late 1800s with hand tooled details. Pendant measures 2.1" tall. Floriography, that is the language of flowers, was popular during the Victorian era. The flower on this former bar pin closely resembles a rhododendron (azalea) and has the meaning "Je t'attendrai" or " I will wait". Perhaps it could also be a morning glory bloom, known to be a symbol for romance, with different colors each having a specific meaning.
-
New 14k gold filled chain that measures a standard 18”.
Necklace pictured measures 18”. If desired, an adjustable chain length may be built into the chain to be more versatile, adjustable from 16-17-18 inches or from 18-19-20 inches. Wear this necklace shorter or longer depending on the neckline of what you're wearing.
