A beautiful gilt metal Bohemian garnet and seed pearl brooch from the Victorian era (circa late 1880s) has been converted into a necklace.
Garnets are January's birthstone, and I absolutely love the fire and sparkle of the Bohemian garnets in this piece. Garnets represent love, the heart, blood, inner fire and life force. They are also believed to shield their wearers from harm. Even those unsuperstitious souls will appreciate the meaning and beauty of powerful garnets.

New USA grade 14k gold-filled chain. Chain length is 16 inches.

If desired, an adjustable chain length may be built into the existing chain to be more versatile, adjustable from 16-17-18 inches or replaced with a longer chain adjustable from 18-19-20 inches.
