An antique bar pin from the Victorian era (circa mid/late 1800s to early 1900s) was repurposed and converted into a necklace with an added simple and elegant chain. I always say that I love a black and gold combination, and this one is has even more contrast because of the addition of white enamel. White enamel is rarer and more difficult to find having survived over a century. The condition of this piece with its black enamel and white enamel make it extra special. Not to mention that buckles represented friendship and loyalty in Victorian symbolism.

Necklace pictured measures 16”. If desired, an adjustable chain length may be built into the existing chain to be more versatile, adjustable from 16-17-18 inches or replaced with a longer chain adjustable from 18-19-20 inches.
